A Week More To Go…
Saturday, December 16th, 2006…and you wouldn’t believe the amount of work my boss had given me. Maybe that’s what supposed to be my Year End Bonus. Not that I’m complaining. At least, I’m not dealing with some boring financial reports, as I know some people are doing. Ha.
Anyway, I had also been asked to submit a proposal for a seminar at central branch and I’m guessing not a whole lot of people submitted theirs - mine got through. The gig will be this Thursday.
And I haven’t got anything to wear. Hahaha.
What the heck was I doing? I haven’t been touching Power Point since forever. I doubt it if I still remember which is which. How am I going to present my material? Using pathetic cutout pictures in the classroom is OK., I guess, but at a seminar…? Where not all of the people present adore me?
Anyway, enough about work.
Rico lent me The OC, first season, and I’ve been wasting the weekend away watching Ryan and the gang - instead of working. (Well, here we’re back again…) Anyway, I watched it on and off the first time it came out - only now can I understand all the fuss that had been made then. It is really good.
God, I’m addicted. The connection today is heaven, smooth and fast, unlike what it has been these last couple of weeks - but all I can think of is going home and watch some more.
There are some articles I’ve pulled off Google concerning the topic I am about to present later but damn, aren’t they a bore to read. I mean, these people know what they’re talking about and they’re supposed to be teachers - which means knowing how to present things in an interesting way but I guess, the wild, wild web simply defeats them.
I Cannot Read A Damn Thing!
All the articles are written in the detestable Times New Roman (I hate Times New Roman) and all in one very wide column. Find yourselves a 9 year-old kid to tool a little with your layout, guys!
Anyway, I’m off. There’s nothing here to help me with the presentation - just gonna have to do it my own way. That’s what I like best anyway. Wish me luck. Hasta la vista.
